Connectathons in the first quarter of 2020

Connectathons are conference calls between Data Consumers and Data Providers, aiming at testing the TOOP crossborder connection. The second session of connectathons focussed on testing the General Business Mobility (GBM) and Maritime pilots. From the 3rd of February 2020, the second connectathon session continued to test the new release of TOOP Connector 0.10.8, that corrects issues detected during the previous connectathons. Some of the Member States also updated their SMP certificates.

For the GBM pilots, 10 Member States participated actively: eight Data Consumers (Austria, Germany, Greece, Norway, Poland, Slovenia and Sweden) and eight Data Providers (Austria, Italy, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden). All scenarios were completed with successful results.

For the Maritime pilots, four Member States participated actively as Data Consumers and Data Providers: Denmark, Estonia, Norway and Finland. Denmark, Estonia and Norway already took part in connectathons in 2019; Finland joined successfully the connectathons in February 2020. Latvia and Bulgaria will join the third session of connectathons.

The third session of connectathon will start in May 2020, with a new release of TOOP Connector, including also functionalities for the eProcurement pilot, which should be available at that time.
