TOOP Maritime Pilot widely promoted during the Digital Transport Days!

The conference gathered over 940 participants and was dedicated to the digitalisation of transport in all transport modes and was aimed to offer a European viewpoint to future solutions for the transport sector.

It was an excellent opportunity to promote TOOP to its main target groups; representatives of public officials, e-government experts, industry and service providers. TOOP’s project stand, hosted by partners from Norway, Denmark and Poland, welcomed numerous visitors. TOOP members explained the OOP in the maritime sector, presenting its impact and added value on the ‘online ship and crew certificates’ in a cross-border dimension. TOOP stand was visited by the European Commissioner for Transport, Violeta Bulc and Director-General for Mobility and Transport Henrik Hololei. Great interest in the Maritime Pilot showed that the implementation of the ‘once-only’ principle on the European level will be beneficial both for maritime administration and ship operators.

Support TOOP and help us make the ‘once-only’ principle a reality in the EU!
